I am a Belgian citizen. Born in 1952. Retired after a banking career of over 40 years.I live in Ninove, a small city in Flanders, the Flemish speaking part of Belgium. About 20 km s away from Brussels. I am member of photo club:-IRIS LEDE(www.irislede.be)  This club won the World cup FIAP for photo clubs in 2008 and was first in the PID Interclub Compitition of the  PSA(2014-2015). Since a very long time, I own the E-Fiap title.On the other hand I don't have any PSA titles. I never solicited for. My “career” as photographer started already at the end of the seventies and purely as a hobby.With very  special  interest in travel photography.Every year, together with my best friend,  I visited an exotic country in Asia or Africa. But I had to stop with these voyages a couple of  years ago after having had two hospitalizations due to exotic travels.Since that time I focus on Europe, traveling mostly by car.I concentrate on sports and nature.My favorite sport is sledge dogs competition. Each year we visit the World- or European championship. Until now I won several hundred HM's, medals or trophies at the regional, national and international stage.The most remarkable in my opinion was in 2004  at the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC International Photo Contest (a cruise for two to the Galapagos Islands). I am also interested in  paperwork  both color and monochrome.Due to the possibilities of digital photography no external intervention is needed anymore.
